What Is Dental Speciality Core Knowledge Examination?

Why You Need To Prepare?

Dentists who have completed a dental specialty program not accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada (CDAC) must complete the Dental Specialty Core Knowledge Examination (DSCKE) followed by a Dental Specialty Assessment and Training Program (DSATP).

The examination consists of a combination of 95-100 single-answer and multiple-answer multiple-choice questions administered in a 3-hour session.

Questions in the examination may include radiographic images, photographs of models, or photographs of patients and a patient case history if applicable.
