Instructor Dr. Rahul Monga

I completed my Canadian Dental Equivalency in 2018, driven by a passion to empower dentists migrating to Canada from around the world. Although I was accepted into the DDS program at NYU School of Dentistry, I chose to dedicate myself to the Canadian dental education system. My journey has shown me that real growth stems not just from success but from the powerful lessons of failure. I began as a trainer for dental assisting students and gradually progressed to coaching candidates preparing for the NDEB Equivalency, INBDE, and ADC exams. Having personally experienced the setbacks and obstacles many face, I am now dedicated to helping others navigate more effective and rewarding pathways. As of early 2025, over 80,000 students have enrolled in my online courses, with 300–400 new students joining each month. I am also the author of three widely popular books on dentistry, available on Amazon, which have become essential resources for aspiring dental professionals. My philosophy is simple: don’t strive for perfection—focus on being better than you were yesterday. This approach helps you enjoy the process, reduce anxiety about the outcome, and trust that you are doing your best with the resources available to you. In addition to my work in dentistry, I am deeply interested in Epigenetics and Neuro-Linguistic Programming. I am a keen follower of Zig Ziglar, Tony Robbins, and Dr. Joe Dispenza, and I actively apply their teachings in my daily life. I look forward to welcoming you to one of my courses and supporting your journey to success.

Situational Judgement For NDECC Exam ( NDEB, Canada )

Mistake That Nearly Tanked My Clinical Exam (Don’t Let It Be Yours)

Let me take you back to my first shot at the clinical skills exam.

I walked in confident. Tools prepped. Steps memorized.
Started my first task... and got way too caught up in making it perfect.
I mean flawless. Every detail. Every angle. Picture-perfect dentistry.

I was in my zone... until I wasn’t.

Time was up.

I hadn’t even finished.

No warning. No “wrap it up.” Just—
Session over. Tools down.
And with that, my attempt? Done.

Here’s the painful part:
I knew exactly what to do. I had the skills.
But I let the clock beat me.

And in the NDECC, that’s all it takes.

It hit me hard—but it also taught me something huge:

Being technically good isn’t enough.
You have to be good when it counts—
Under pressure, under time, and without do-overs.

So before my second attempt, I got serious:

  • Every practice session? Timed.

  • Every drill? Under exam conditions—noise, nerves, and all.

  • Focus? On efficiency and execution, not perfection.

Round two? I passed.
Because I didn’t just practice the procedures—
I practiced performing them under pressure.

If you're prepping for NDECC Clinical Day:

  • Use a timer. Every single time.

  • Simulate exam stress—yes, even that annoying background noise.

  • Track your pace like your license depends on it (because it kinda does).

  • Learn when to move on—even if it’s not “perfect.”

Time management isn’t optional—it’s part of the exam.
Master it early.
So you don’t have to learn the hard way like I did.
